Melee weapons Craftsman's Guide Starbound Guide. This is one of the best weapons for beginners, because they deal a lot of damage within wide range. Daggers - one of the fastest types of melee weapons. Its main downside is its range, which is based on stabs, rather than in the form of overhead and horizontal swings. Actual stats often have decimals. Feel free to edit this page to add or correct information. Armors are not generated by the game and they do not have random statistics, just like in the case of weapons. The basic piece of clothing, which you receive at the beginning of the game, is not the best protection against the hordes of the enemies that you will have to face. 1 Description: 2 Stats. The Manipulator's Table is used to craft offensive combat armor with a high attack power bonus. Naturally, all weapon types benefit from a raw damage boost, however staves and wands benefit the most and this armor is designed with them in mind. Page 1 of 2 - Observing chairs - Starbound the best option? - posted in Equipment: Looking at no more than $200. And I am not so light, so would need a =300# rating to be safe. Quick Guide to Spawning Items
For the most part, spawning items inside of Starbound is fairly straightforward. You’ll be able to copy and paste the spawn command for items directly from our Starbound item IDs table. However if you’re required to manually enter the command, you can enter /spawnitem <ItemID>
to your console. Replace <ItemID>
with the corresponding ID for the item listed in the table below. There are additional parameters that can be used, scroll down to find the guide below.
Spawning Items In Starbound
First things first. We’re going to need to enable admin mode in order to spawn items. In a singleplayer game, you can do this simply by opening up the console by pressing the Enter key and using the command /admin 1
. Enabling this mode unlocks all crafting recipes, makes you invincible, prevents energy loss and most importantly, allows us to access admin commands. To disable this mode in singleplayer, use the command /admin 0
.
In a multiplayer server, you will need to have the game server administrator give your account admin privileges. Once you have them, you’ll be able to use /admin 1
and /admin 0
just as you would in singleplayer.
Now that we’re an admin, we can begin spawning items. Let’s take a closer look at the /spawnitem
command and its available arguments.
/spawnitem
/spawnitem <ItemID> <Count> <ColorCode>
Description: Spawns the specified amount of the selected item at your cursor.
Arguments:
- <ItemID> – use the list above to find this. Search for the item you want, and enter its specified ID here. Most of the time, it will just be the name of the item with no spaces.
- <Count> – the amount of the item you want to spawn. This will default to 1 if you choose to enter nothing.
- <ColorCode> – this can be used to spawn in items of different colors, but it must be entered in a very specific format. Note that if you enter something in this field, you must also include a
<Count>
, you cannot leave it blank. Refer to the color index below to select a color.
